Team Pirate celebrates success at the London Youth Games!
Huge congratulations to our amazing Young Pirates for their outstanding performance in the 2026 London Youth Games Kayaking events.
After going through the heats at Fairlop Outdoor Activity Centre in Barkingside on 7th June, Beatrice brought home Silver in the Girls Junior Slalom and Bronze in the Girls U14 200m Sprint – an incredible achievement!
A massive well done also to Anna, Max, Misha, Freddie, Oliver, Ibrahim and Adam for training hard, cheering everybody on and making our team so great!
Our inspirational team were also presented with the ‘London Youth Games Outstanding Team Award’ for kayaking at the Camden Active Sports Awards event on 15th July. Camden’s biggest night for youth sports shone a spotlight on over 500 local young athletes who lit up the London Youth Games, School Games and ParaGames — and another 1,500 who competed in school events all year.
We’re so proud of every one of our Young Pirates and the team of instructors, staff and volunteers who make our youth work possible! Your hard work, determination and team spirit are what make The Pirate Castle such a special place.
