We're super-proud that one of our amazing volunteer youth instructors, Alex, and The Pirate Castle feature in John Lyon's Charity's special SHAFari Edition newsletter!
Thanks to core and School Holiday Activity Fund (SHAF) grants over the years, John Lyon's Charity has helped keep The Pirate Castle afloat and continue empowering young people through canal-based adventure, learning and leadership.
On 6th August we joined John Lyon’s Charity at London Zoo to celebrate 10 years of their SHAF programme with over 500 children from other great charities who also provide much-needed school holiday activities.
We had a fantastic time on SHAFari with John the Lyon and the incredible JLC team – thanks for all you do to help us continue making a difference!
