Paddlesport Training
The Pirate Castle is an accredited Paddle UK training centre and provider.
Not only do we provide training for our in-house volunteer and instructor team, we also provide training and development courses for the general public at reasonable rates.
Biography:
Daisy Wild is a Paddle UK accredited Paddlesport Coach and Provider, and she joined The Pirate Castle crew as a freelancer in early 2020 to help run our Holiday Schemes and youth ‘Pirate Club’ sessions and quickly became an integral part of the staff team.
She’s an experienced Paddle UK Paddlesport coach, with a strong skill-set which includes playboating and supporting paddlers with additional support needs, along with running sessions that are fun, developmental and rewarding. Daisy now heads up our instructor team and leads on all things paddlesport.
We also have a strong team of qualifies youth and adult Paddlesport Instructors who can assist with training sessions
Courses we offer:
- Paddlesport Instructor – 2 day course (ages 14+)
- PSRC (2 day course)
- Explore Award – 2 day course (ages 8+)
Start and Discover Awards are also available for new paddlers as part of a progressive schools or community group booking or to attendees of Youth Club or Adult Clubs looking to volunteer for us or develop their own personal skills.
