Re-Opening Event - March 9th 2017 Come and join us on Thursday 9th March between 16:00 – 19:00 to celebrate our re-opening and the 40th anniversary of our Castle home! Along with showcasing the recent improvements to our community spaces and facilities, there will be opportunities to see some of our Young Pirates unpack and assemble their new kayaks, tour our canal boats and enjoy some light refreshments with us in our fantastic Main Hall. Boat Handling Experience Days 2017 The Pirate Castle will be running our popular Boat Handling Experience Days throughout 2017. These non-certificated one day courses provide friendly, hands-on training with our experienced, NCBA-accredited trainers, covering basic canal boat and lock handling skills. Re-launch Special Offer! To celebrate our refit and 2017 re-launch, The Pirate Castle is offering a Special Introductory Rate on weekday hall bookings confirmed by Tuesday 28th February 2017! The Special Introductory Rate of only £25.00 per hour will apply to Main Hall bookings taking place between 9:00am to 3:00pm, Monday to Friday. The rate includes use of tables and chairs and the kitchen area (if required). To qualify for this fantastic offer, one-off bookings for dates throughout 2017 must be confirmed and paid in full by 28th February 2017. Read more

Funded 'Rosedale' cruises To complement our ambition for an inclusive, active community we have introduced the Rosedale Scheme to assist registered charities, community organisations and voluntary groups whose stated aims and objectives are to enhance people's social/physical wellbeing and/or to provide educational/training opportunities to help improve their longer-term prospects, but who lack funds to engage in activities that support these aims. Family Day Canal Boat Trips Summer 2017 The Pirate Castle will be running Family Day canal boat trips this summer for parents/ carers with children and children with parents/ carers. The trips will run on Sundays from 2.00 - 5.00pm. The boat can carry a maximum of 12 passengers in total, and so to be fair to everyone we request that each family group be no larger than 4 people. The cost per person is only a fantastic £3.00! Read more
Refurbishment Update - January 2017 Thanks to a Section 106 community grant from Camden Council, renovations at The Pirate Castle are well under way and we're on target to re-open in March 2017! Along with improving our facilities and community spaces, the Council's grant has allowed us to renew our kayak fleet and replace our ageing narrowboat, so that even more people can get involved and enjoy our unique approach to learning, adventure and community on the Regent's Canal!
